Sensei's departure message to the kenshu participants:
"As leaders in your respective organisations, you shoulder responsibilities that are above and beyond those that are borne by others. And the burden is weighty indeed. But please remember that only Buddhas are able to strive to accomplish the lofty and unsurpassed objective of kosenrufu. No way of life is as worthy and sublime as the one you have chosen. The benefits you accrue will embrace the lives of your children and grandchildren, extending for generations into the future. I ask that you take leadership with this unshakable conviction. Let us cherish and care for each of our fellow members with the best interest at heart, praising their efforts and supporting them to the best of our ability, as we serenely and valiantly seize victory upon victory towards the fulfilment of our vow for kosenrufu."
