When we discover and awaken to the significance of our circumstances, we are able to create value from them. That is also what engenders a strong, resourceful spirit.

Good Afternoon Myo Ho friends !
🙏Nam Myo Ho Renge Kyo to you.
🙆‍♀️Together let's encourage one other.

👋👋 When we believe in the Gohonzon and apply ourselves to chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo both for ourselves and for others, the world of Buddhahood emerges within our lives like the sun, dispelling our karmic impediments just as the warm morning sunlight evaporates frost or dew.

📝Let's learn from Ikeda Sensei's guidance

💁🏻‍♂️🇧🇪"President Ikeda stresses the
importance of changing the way we see sufferings and taking the stance of "transforming karma into mission.

🇧🇪💁🏻‍♂️SGI President Ikeda expresses this process as "changing karma into mission" and explains:
👋👋 "We all have our own karma or destiny, but when we look it square in the face and grasp its true significance, then any hardship can serve to help us lead richer and more profound lives.
💁🏻‍♀️💁🏻‍♂️Our actions in challenging our destiny become examples and inspirations for countless others.
🙏🙏"In other words, when we change our karma into mission, we transform our destiny from playing a negative role to a positive one.
🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♂️Those who change their karma into their mission have 'voluntarily assumed the appropriate karma.'
👋👋Therefore, those who keep advancing, while regarding everything as part of their mission, proceed toward the goal of transforming their destiny"

🇧🇪Second Soka Gakkai president Josei Toda said: "If we were too perfect to begin with, others would find it hard to relate to us.
💁🏻‍♀️💁🏻‍♂️That's why we specifically chose to be born as ordinary people, experiencing sickness and poverty, so that we could widely spread Buddhism in society….
👋👋 LIFE IS LIKE PLAYING A PART IN A DRAMA."
☝️☝️☝️He often gave guidance in
this vein.
💁🏻‍♂️He also said: "I lost my wife and also my daughter. My businesses failed.
🙏Because I have known such sufferings,
I was able to become the president of the Soka Gakkai."

🛎🛎Those who haven't experienced hardships and sufferings can't be expected to understand others' feelings.
🛎🛎Only those who have gone through painful struggles and trials can truly help others.
🛎🛎🛎TO SIMPLY REGARD ALL OF OUR SUFFERINGS AS KARMA IS PASSIVE AND DEFEATIST.
💁🏻‍♀️💁🏻‍♂️Instead, we should view them as sufferings we have voluntarily taken on as part of our mission, and which we have vowed to overcome through our Buddhist
practice.
🙏🙏The principle of "voluntarily assuming the appropriate karma"
✅teaches this fundamental transformation of attitude, or mind-set. ✅We can definitely transform our
karma into our mission.
🙏💪Since all our problems and struggles are expressions of our own vow, there is no way that we will not be able to surmount them.

👋👋We [as Bodhisattvas of the Earth] are born among those suffering the most.
👋👋The Buddha resides among those who are suffering the most.
🙏😇Buddhism exists to enable those suffering the most to attain the greatest happiness.

"as for the matter of becoming a Buddha, ordinary people keep in mind the words 'earnest resolve' and thereby become Buddhas."

"The Daishonin stresses that nothing is more important than realising that we ourselves are the treasure tower and the treasure tower is none other than ourselves. There is no greater wisdom, he is saying, than awakening to the true reality of our lives and the Mystic Law that governs all life and the universe.

"Just before he died, Shakyamuni urged his disciples to 'be a lamp unto themselves and a refuge unto themselves, [to] betake themselves to no external refuge, but holding fast to the Truth as their lamp and holding fast as their refuge to the Truth, [to] look not for refuge to any one besides themselves.'*

"Buddhism likened this world to a raging torrent. What can be done to relieve the sufferings of people tossed about by these turbulent currents? The Buddha here stresses the importance of each person forging a solid self by making the unshakeable Law their anchor."
