Background of the Song:
Leading up to the World Youth General Meeting on 27
September 2020, and in commemoration of the 60th anniversary of October 2nd where SGI President Ikeda first set forth for world peace, a new song for youth of the Soka Gakkai has been composed.
Created together by SGI youth representatives globally, this song titled, "Eternal Journey With Sensei (The Song of Our Vow)", also contains significant excerpts from the opening and closing chapters of The New Human Revolution penned by SGI President Ikeda over 25 years.
Through the lyrics, youthful disciples express their strong determination to respond to their mentor and carry on the baton to strive for the happiness of humanity and for world peace.
Let us fill every corner of this Earth with our resolute voices as we sing this beautiful song with our hearts! Forward, we advance, we arise!
