Faith in the Mystic Law Puts Us on the Path to Absolute Happiness
These large carriages drawn by white oxen [the great white ox carts described in the Lotus Sutra] are able to fly at will through the sky of the essential nature of phenomena.
Those persons who come after me will ride in these carriages and journey to Eagle Peak. And I, Nichiren, riding in the same kind of carriage, will come out to greet them. From "On the Large Carriages Drawn by White Oxen" (WND-2, 976)
妙法 是 步 向 绝对 幸福 的 轨道
自在 飞驰 于 法 性 空 之 车，乃 名 大白牛车也。
后 我 而 来 众人，可 乘 此 车 来 灵山，日莲 亦 乘 大白 牛车 往 迎。

Miàofǎ shì bù xiàng juéduì xìngfú de guǐdào
Zìzài fēichí yú Fǎ xìng kōng zhī chē, nǎi míng dàbái niú chē yě.
Hòu wǒ ér lái zhòngrén, kě chéng cǐ chē lái Lngshān, Rìlián yì chéng dàbái niú chē wǎng yíng.

白话：自在 飞翔 法 性 天空 的 车 才 叫做 大白c牛车。比 我（日莲） 晚来 的人 招来 这 部 车， 就 可 前 去 灵山。日莲 也 将 坐 同样 的 车 亲自 出来 迎接。
Báihuà: Zìzài fēixiáng fǎ xìng tiānkōng de chē cái jiàozuò dàbái niúchē. Bǐ wǒ (Rìlián) wǎn lái de rén zhāolái zhè bù chē, jiù kě qián qù Língshān. Rìlián yě jiāng zuò tóngyàng de chē qīnzì chūlái yíngjiē.
The lives of those who chant Nam-myoho-renge-kyo and strive for kosen-rufu are certain to attain a magnificent state of happiness that will endure throughout the three existences of past, present, and future.
The great white ox carts are adorned with the seven kinds of treasures such as gold, silver, and precious gems, and fly freely through the sky of the essential nature of phenomena—the Dharma nature, or enlightenment— accompanied by more than sixty thousand Buddhas and bodhisattvas. (cf WND-2, 976) They are a symbol of the sublime life state we are ensured of.
唱念 妙法， 为 广布 奔走 的 生命， 已 获 承诺 三世 不朽 的 浩瀚 幸福 境界。而 这 部 由 金银 等 七 宝 所 彩饰， 以及 与 六 万 多 的 佛 菩萨 一起 翱翔 在 法 性 天空、庄严 无比 的 大白 牛车， 就是 此 境界 的 象征。
Chàngniàn Miàofǎ, wèi guǎngbù bēnzǒu de shēngmìng, yǐ huò chéngnuò sānshì bùxiǔ de hàohàn xìngfú jìngjiè. Ér zhè bù yóu jīnyín děng qībǎo suǒ cǎishì, yǐjí yǔ liù wàn duō de fú púsà yīqǐ áoxiáng zài fǎ xìng tiānkōng, zhuāngyán wúbǐ de dàbái niú chē, jiùshì cǐ jìngjiè de xiàngzhēng.
Nichiren Daishonin, the Buddha of the Latter Day of the Law, even states that he will come to greet us in such a carriage. Please have deep confidence that you will enjoy boundless good fortune and benefit in lifetime after lifetime, a state of being in which both life and death are suffused with joy.
本 佛 甚至 说， 要 乘坐 这 部 大白 牛车 来 迎接。 我们 要 确信， 生生世世 一定 会 处于 无量 福德 满盈、"生 也 欢喜， 死 也 欢喜" 的 境地。
Běn Fó shènzhì shuō, yào chéngzuò zhè bù dàbái niúchē lái yíngjiē. Wǒmen yào quèxìn, shēngshēngshìshì yīdìng huì chǔyú wúliàng fú dé mǎnyíng,"shēng yě huānxǐ, sǐ yě huānxǐ"de jìngdì.
