Good morning/afternoon all fellow leaders and members.

We would like to share a piece of good news to everyone.

The HGV Training Program which was initiated by SGI in year 2015 has been stopped for 5 years since the outbreak of the covid pandemic. 

The last we organized was in year 2020.  

We are happy to announce that the HGV Training Program will resume again this year in the month of May from 17th to 21st May 2025 and is open to all SGS members.

The Hall of Great Vow for kosen-rufu is a place where all members from around the world vow to succeed the spirit of the three successive presidents and to understand the significance of the true spirit of kosen-rufu.

In this new era of worldwide kosen-rufu, Sensei has decided to enable all SGI members around the world to pray to this Gohonzon that is so close to his and his mentor's heart. This is because he hopes we can all succeed the same spirit And the HGV Training Programme is curated based on the above significance and spirit.

We would like to reiterate that the spirit of making our vow and to pray with the same heart as Sensei for kosen-rufu at the gongyo session remains the sole importance spirit for this trip. 

Since it is going to be first training programme that we are resuming we are extending this opportunity and priority to those 65 years and above, ambulant and have not been to the Hall of Great Vow for kosen-rufu before (including personal trip).

As we continue this training programme, we may review and make changes accordingly.

Interested individuals can apply for the programme by completing the application form made available at the front desk of each SGS centre or downloadable from the SGS website (https://sokasingapore.org/) and submitting it to the SGS Headquarters within the application window of 28 February to 7 April 2025.

Application forms will be made available from 28 February 2025 onwards and are to be fully completed before submission.

All applicants will be informed of their status by phone call. Some of the considerations in shortlisting participants are as follow:
1. Meeting the requirements for the programme (stated on application
2. form)
First-timers to the Hall of the Great Vow for Kosen-rufu will be
prioritized
3. Rooming considerations and overall make-up of the group
